Summer Showcase at the Bridgewater Hall, 20 May 2026

What a gorgeous morning we had for our showcase at the Bridgewater Hall!

This was the culmination of all the hard work this academic year of the participants of our learning programme from Pear Tree School, Melland High School and Heaton School.

We work with these participants on our year-long programmes, with weekly sessions delivered in a deeply embedded partnership with the schools. This means we see impressive results at this end of year celebration, including original songs and performances demonstrating improved confidence and social skills.

We heard everything from water and thunder sounds being created with instruments, to rock band stylings and a rapper rocking sunglasses.

Using a mixture of traditional instruments and accessible music technology allowed those with even the most limited mobility to show off their skills to their friends and family!

We hope the participants are all proud of themselves for how well they performed, and that their friends, families and teachers enjoyed seeing them singing, dancing and playing their hearts out.

This event could not be produced without the support of our partners the Bridgewater Hall and schools. Well done to our participants for giving your all and performing so beautifully and to our amazing practitioners and team who made the event happen.
